was all about getting a bedside commode that would fit over my normal one (with the bucket taken out) so I wouldn't have to push off from the toilet and sink so much to get up and down. After a day of phone calls back and forth, Brandon was able to go pick it up for me and install it (such that you need to). I'm am getting a much better appreciation for the lives of the elderly and physically disabled. His 3- and 5-year-old kids were quite amused that anyone my age needed a potty chair. Strangest comment was from Brandon though: (holding the pot that came off the contraption) 'You know, if this were metal, you could cook in it.' And I thought he was my normal friend.
I also managed to wash my hair yesterday, which helped my mood immensely.
It looks very gloomy and icky outside. Next slated outing is November 6th for an appointment. I haven't looked up the weather yet. Please don't be raining; I may have to climb those stairs on hands and knees again. We'll see. My main agenda today is to blog and relax a little, without spending all day in bed. Wish me luck.
