Who knew the power of a pregnancy test and the Internet?

Reddit, pregnancy test help young man discover testicular cancer (+video)
While the original post was little more than a human-interest piece posted to Reddit because of the bizarre nature of the experience, thousands of concerned Redditors responded to the post within a few days of the comic going live.

“You may have testicular cancer! Get to an oncologist, tell them you took a pregnancy test and it came out positive,” one Redditor noted. “If this is true, you should check yourself for testicular cancer. Seriously. Google it,” another viewer said.

Health experts believe that the man’s pregnancy test was positive because pregnancy tests find human chorionic gonadotropin, which is a hormone in the blood and urine created by the placenta.
