Brandon was here briefly to deliver my care package from my aunt and uncle but had to run because his three-year-old was cranky, but two of my co-workers came by. Jill brought me some things that will be very helpful (a puzzle book, a magazine, an excellent telescopic back scratcher, and a lotion that does much better than the baby lotion I've been using, and since my skin is desperately dry and chapped, it was perfect. She also brought my sharps container from work so I could put the syringes for one of my medicines inside. Then after she left, Linda came by to pick up my laundry, which she and another lady, Carol, are splitting up and I should have it back tomorrow. She also brought me two seven-layer burritos from Taco Bell that were very welcome.
After everyone was gone, I crashed for about three-and-a-half hours. I've been sleeping so sporadically, I really needed it. I'm still rather tired, but decided to get up and not just go to bed for the night at 6 pm.
I just really want to thank everyone who's been so kind to me during this. I loved having visitors today; it breaks up the monotony and makes me feel more connected to my fellow man.
