that he was, indeed, the 'normal' friend. Of course, he then reiterated that had the plastic (and granted, unused) commode pot been metal, it would be the perfect size for a batch of chili.
Um hmm.
I also had a call from A, who admitted that he was not quite the norm but more normal than YKWIA, of which we can all agree (and that brand of abnormality is something I value in him), and as we were talking I thought I heard the doorbell. Given the false alarm the other day and the fact that I was on the phone and in bed, the furthest from the door I could be, I let it go, and it didn't ring again. Turns out my aunt sent a parcel, which is now over at the post office. I think I'll send Brandon in for it when we're out on Tuesday rather than play cat and mouse with the mail carrier. I'm sorry I missed it, though. It would have been a nice break from bills, although I also got a get-well card from a co-worker, which I put up on my door. I now have eleven of them. :)
Apparently the calendar is the same this year for March and November, as I haven't erased March from my dry erase board calendar and the numbers are all in the right place. That's convenient. (I do have other calendars in the house. It occurs to me they're all on October still.)
I'm up, I've eaten, I'm tired again. Maybe some reading would help. I should go check out the November Kindle books for $3.99 or less.
