A typical conversation between YKWIA and me

(most of which was his ideas)

Did you know that Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is not the first screenwriter in the family? His father wrote for The Golden Girls, and his father wrote for Donna Reed.

So all we need is a combination of Donna Reed, the Golden Girls, and Buffy. We can see Sophia taking out the bad guy with stakes like they did back in Sicily. Rose would tell St. Olaf stories until the vampires staked themselves. I don't even want to think about what Blanche would do with the Undead, but we can guess. Dorothy would attack them with her biting wit. After all, she's a substitute high school teacher...what's a few Undead compared to that? Donna, of course, would do it all in pearls.

So they all wrote for female icons. The Golden Girls, after all, lasted almost as long as Charmed (the longest running female ensemble show). Again, we could see the geriatric girls fighting daemons, but Rose would have trouble with the potions, because in St. Olaf we're sure that they all were made with cheese.

My brain so hurts now.
