I'm quite ashamed that as a former comic store worker and all around geekazoid

...and occasional reader of Neil Gaiman's Journal, I had no idea that he and Todd MacFarlane were duking it out over the ownership of several characters. Got word from LISNews, then checked out Neil's blog as well. It just shows how really mind-boggling complex this sort of stuff can be, especially when creative relationships sour (and why I've never persued some rather good story ideas that were based on a collaboration years ago). All I can say is, congratulations. I've always been more of a Sandman kind of girl than a Spawn one. :)
