Born, like other comic book characters, out of an otherwise trivial but life-changing animal bite, the Rabid Librarian seeks out strange, useless facts, raves about real and perceived injustices, and seeks to meet her greatest challenge of all--her own life.

I just had a bit of a close call
turning right from Palumbo to Man O'War. A car was turning right on to Palumbo and it seemed to be the only one on the road, so I started turning, when a car came out from behind it and nearly squashed me. Fortunately I am somewhat 'grandma'-like in such turns normally, and they were able to slow down, so nothing impacted and no one got hurt. Nothing like a near-accident to chase away the afternoon doldrums.
I'm getting ready to go to job #2. I left job #1 a little early because I was ahead on my time. Tomorrow I have a web conference over at UK from 2-4, so I'll get some extra time in then, too. I didn't want to be *too* far ahead. The main thing I did was order books today and waded through the rest of the e-mail I got during my PTO on Thursday and Friday. Fortunately no interlibrary loans got routed there, since I forgot to set the library to not receiving. I've done several borrowing ILLs since I got back, though.
Oh, yesterday I was positively bouncy, as I got another 13 hours of sleep on top of the 11 1/2 the night before. I was apparently exhausted. I came home at 7 pm Sunday night and was in bed by 8. But I got a lot accomplished on Monday, including an eye appointment. I have been wearing glasses the last several years but had decided to try contacts again, and it was time for my check-up, so it seemed a good opportunity. I'm in a trial pair of monovision contacts, which is an alternative to bifocal lenses. Basically the dominant eye (in this case my left) is fitted with a contact for distance vision, whereas the non-dominant eye (in this case my right) is fitted with a lens tweaked for near vision. It takes the brain about a week to really get used to both lenses working together. You don't look at anything with one eye--that's important. In order to get used to it, you have to look with both eyes. About 20% can't deal with them, from what I've read, but I seem to be doing alright. Yesterday was a little blurry but I chalk that up to having my eyes dilated. Today is much better. I'm doing fine with the computer screen and with traffic signs. It's not quite as clear as my glasses, but I expect that to improve. We're trying the monovision because I've started having trouble reading small print near me and have been holding things out a little further to see them better, a sure sign that I, like other forty-somethings, am having changes to my vision due to ageing. The only concern that came out of the eye exam is that my eyes' pressure is a little high, but she said that 1) they're at the same pressure, which is good, and 2) my optic nerves look good, so there's no real indication of glaucoma as yet. Still, she wants me back in 6 months for just the pressure tests to make sure everything is fine.
I guess that's it until tonight. Because of tiling (and a lack of paint coupled with my schedule), I won't be painting tonight. It looks like Thursday may be the next day. Have I mentioned that I hate painting dark colours on walls like burgundy? Three coats already and no complete coverage. It took five last time; I think the results will be the same this time. Each time has been over primer (last time dark, this time lighter) and with Sherwin-Williams' highest quality paint. Sigh. Well, it should be well worth it in the end, at least. :)

11 1/2 hours of sleep!
I finally feel somewhat human again, and a rested human at that. The painting odyssey is still going on, but at least I got some sleep. This morning I caught up on news from my reader and cleaned off my kitchen table (I've been dumping stuff there when I come in.) I uncovered a package of tuna, so I'll have a portable lunch to take with me today. I'm pretty much to the point of only having things I have to cook in the house. Yesterday's supper was pasta made with olive oil, Italian spices, and Parmesan cheese, for example. There's not much in the house, but fortunately I get paid on Thursday. My only real concern is keeping gas in the car at this point.
Last night I got in and my neck and back were really bothering me. I never truly relax in those areas, and the muscles bunch, plus I have osteoarthritis where the neck joins the spine because my spine is 'J' shaped rather than 'S' shaped and my neck curves the opposite way of how it's supposed to, then bounces on the straight spine, putting more pressure on it. Since I don't have money for a masseuse (especially at 10 o'clock on a Friday night), I went to the comfy chair and turned on the heated massage cushion and tried to relax for about an hour. That did wonders, although it's still a bit of an issue today, but I'll probably work that out painting. I'm doing burgundy today. A friend saw a big line on my forearm the other day and thought I'd been scratched or sliced with something. Fortunately that wasn't the case.
Okay, it's 11:30 and I have to go paint at noon, so I'll sign off here for now. But I'm still alive, and hopefully when I get home I won't just collapse into sleep now, like I have been doing. I never seem to have the time to blog about everything I think is interesting enough to blog about, and lately I'm lucky to blog at all. But I'll keep trying. Now I have to go feed the fish and take a bath. Hope you're having a great weekend.

Hey, I'm home before 3 am!
I did run into a snag in painting, though, so it looks like I'll be finishing the last room by the end of next week instead of Monday. I'm working Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but the schedule hasn't been made beyond that, so I might be able to get a lighter workweek so I can go ahead and finish. Remodeling is an adventure, I've certainly found. In the meantime there's plenty to help out with besides painting.
There's so much I want to blog about that I've starred in my news reader, but for now I've eaten and it's time for some rest. I've gotten four hours of sleep a night for four nights in a row and I'm very tired and have a headache. Tomorrow comes early for me, too, so it's just good sense to go ahead and turn in for the night. I'll try to get up a little early and write then.
PS At work we've got 20-ounce sodas on sale for 2/$2.22 (they're normally $1.49), but there are 75-cent-off coupons for Diet Cherry Dr Pepper, which I like, so if you get 2 and use the coupons, the grand total is 84 cents, with tax. Really. So I guess you know what I've been drinking of late. :)

I am so very tired, but haven't managed to get to sleep yet
Last night I painted a home library that was about 18 x 12 feet, as well as a walk-in closet. Today I worked (between the two jobs) for twelve hours (10 am to 10 pm). Then I spent about four hours moving and dusting furniture for a friend.
Our manager at the store is on leave, and the woman who is filling in redid our schedule because one woman is out after surgery and another is on spring break from school next week. I gave her my general schedule between customers, forgetting to mention that 1) I have to paint tomorrow and 2) I have an optometrist appointment on Wednesday. But that was my fault. I still have to paint tomorrow, but it won't be until after 10 pm, so I'll be up late again tomorrow night. I need to call tomorrow to see if I can change days for my appointment to Monday.
I usually work between 15-23 hours at the store a week. The new woman scheduled me for 30, making for a 50-hour workweek. Now I know lots of people do that sort of schedule all the time, but I have all this project work to do as well, and although Sunday and Monday are the only days I really need off from the store, I never work every single other day until now. Thursday is 10-2:20 at the hospital, then an appointment at 3, followed by the store from 6-10. Then I have to paint a hallway. Friday it's 10-2:30 at the hospital, then errands with a friend and an appointment, followed by the store from 6-10. Saturday I work 9-5 at the gas station, and then go and prime a bathroom, followed by painting someday next week. Tuesday I work 10-2:30 and then 3-10, and I have the same schedule Wednesday. That's a pretty tight schedule, so I'm not sure if I'll really be able to stop and catch my breath. It depends on what I'm doing Sunday and Monday (although at least I get to watch 'Heroes'--it was so nice spending time doing that with a friend the other day for the first time in quite a while).
So now I'm finally home. I've fed the fish (The pregnant one is huge and looks like she could pop at any moment. I hope the little platies live!) I really should go out and do my monthly libation tonight but I'll just have to try tomorrow; I'm too tired.
Now that I have had a chance to wind down, I'm going to try to go to sleep. I have to get up in about 4 hours. Wish me luck.
PS During the time it took me to compose this post, my pay cheque was deposited from the hospital, and the raise was on it--it's about $25 higher than it was. Yipee!

Sorry I haven't posted much
I've been painting a project that includes a home library, hallway, bath, and closet, so that's quite a bit of work. I've finished the library and closet. I'm actually rather enjoying it, though, except for the paint on my hands and in my hair. But I'm getting so good at it I can paint and only get a very small amount of splatters anywhere on the floor.
Today I was taunted by two crows as I came out of work. It made me think of counting crows--one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, and four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, and seven for a secret never told.
The weather today was beautiful, in the mid-70s, mostly sunny, and breezy. I feel so alive on days like this. That, coupled with a beautiful full moon, made me feel very connected to nature today.
Tomorrow I work both jobs, then I paint more on Thursday. I work on Friday (the new truck night at the store) and on Saturday, and then I'm off from the store until Tuesday. Next Wednesday I have an eye appointment; I'm going to try to go ahead and get contacts, something I haven't had in awhile. I'm intrigued by the new extended, 30-day wear contacts made of breathable polymers I have a certificate for a month's supply, so I definitely want to ask the doctor about that. I'll also have him do a diabetes screen on my retinas.
I found out the other day that I'm getting a 4.5% raise at the hospital, which translates to about $30 a pay period after taxes. That's on top of the market raise I had in January, which was $1 an hour or about $40 per week. It offset the rise in deductions for my health flexible spending account to cover an increase in co-pays for my health insurance. My boss thinks this will go into effect on Thursday's deposit. That would be great, as this week I need to pay my rent and possibly my electric. I may also be getting a bonus at the store, if I've figured my time frame correctly.
Speaking of electricity, I called Kentucky Utilities today to make a payment arrangement just in case I can't pay until next Wednesday. They had a recording stating that as a result of the oeconomic hardships faced by their customers, they have suspended shut offs for non-payment, to be resumed some time in April. I thought that was nice.
Okay, it's late and I should go to bed. Goodnight.

Wish me luck
I'm going to the Habitat for Humanity site in a little while and starting work. Tonight's scheduled task is siding. YKWIA is no doubt laughing--he's done this before. Let's see if I can manage to use a claw hammer without loss to life or limb. Actually, I have some mechanical ability, but I'm also clumsy, so that's the concern.
All the people from the hospital who are doing the build were given powder blue shirts with our logo on it. I'm wearing that and my khaki convertible pants (they convert from regular length to capri, but I'm keeping them normal). I found my boots and put my inserts into them. I stopped by Walgreens to pick up some medication and invested in some sunblock as well, since I had no idea where mine was (actually, I just looked down from the computer and it's on the shelf below my table in front of the window) and sunscreen's supposed to only last about a year anyway--and my old one is 2-3 years old. This came with a keyring version for taking along with you. It's SPF 70 for the regular one and 30 for the keychain, so that should protect my Irish skin. I put my hair up in braids rather than using a scrunchy in case of needing to wear hard hats. I think I'm ready.
Gods, I'm going to be tired tonight, I suspect. Then there's the final coat of paint on the wainscotting to do and notes. Agh. But I'm not checking in the truck at the store tonight. :) (The actual check in is rather a bunny job; it's putting away the boxes that involves lifting and sweating.)
On top of that I have to get up early because I'm an hour and fifteen minutes behind on my time at work, so I need to go in at 9 am rather than 10. Plus I need to straighten up a bit since they're looking for leaks and will be coming into the apartment to turn the water off, so that also means I have to take a shower tonight or early tomorrow before they do that.
Okay, here goes nothing. :)

Good things
I:
PS I'm trying to find a decent program that will help me transcribe dictation from a .wma file rather than a .wav. My recorder creates .wma files, and when I've tried to convert to a .wav for Express Scribe and other programs, I run out of space on the computer/disk I'm saving it to. (Well, I can do it on my computer, but a six-hour session creates a 4 gigabyte file that I can't get onto flash drives and the computer I use for the notes doesn't have a DVD-ROM drive.) Express Scribe is supposed to open .wma's but doesn't seem to recognise the one I have. Right now I'm using Windows Media Player and the slide bar is not particularly sensitive; I need to be able to rewind just a bit rather than to the beginning of recording, etc. Everything I've tried so far, even with a .wav, thinks it's 6 minutes rather than 6 hours long. Any suggestions?
PPS Actually, the version of Windows Media Player that I have on my computer allows for holding down the rewind or fast forward buttons to go back or advance a short amount. The question is whether I can get a version with that feature to work on a machine running Windows ME. (What can I say, I'm doing notes on an old clunker, and I can't bring them home and do them here, unfortunately.) Hmmm...Microsoft suggests WMP 9 for ME. It's supposed to have a rewind feature. The one that came with the machine just goes to the beginning or end of the file. It's worth a try.
- Got home before midnight. Yay!
- Have only one more coat of paint left on the seemingly neverending painting project.
- Am starting the Habitat for Humanity build tomorrow.
- Am going to bed at a reasonable hour.

I've finally cooled down
Listening to: Three Days Grace, 'Never Too Late'
after painting in a hot room ever since I got out of work at 9 pm. I had to get some gas on the way here so I stopped and in addition to the gas got a pint of ice cream, then sat in the air conditioning eating whilst perusing the news.
So it's 4:30 am and I haven't been to bed yet. I plan on heading to bed after I sign off here. I'll wait until tomorrow to take a shower--I'm just too tired right now.
Good night.

I was too tired to blog properly last night
I didn't get home until 2:30 and managed to eat something and check the news before going to geting someone from work at 3 am. Then I went on to bed. I did find the Habitat for Humanity article and managed that. But I was almost too tired to focus enough to type.
Yesterday I worked, took someone to an appointment, ran some errands, and started priming the shelves and those in the utility room. I didn't get to the wainscotting or the brackets; that will have to be for tonight. I work 5-9 pm so my idea is to come home between jobs and nap (since I've only had five hours' sleep) and then go to work, go prime for another 2-3 hours, do at least an hour of notes and my normal nightly stuff, and then crash. Friday and Saturday I need to paint until I get it all done, shelves and wainscotting on the same day, so they'll be ready by Sunday. This is all worse because it's been 85 degrees without air conditioning in a small ventilation-free utility room, for the most part. Bleh. I'll be lucky I don't fall asleep during the game. :)
I was really upset yesterday because I was actually on target to pay my rent on time but when I checked to see how much my store paycheque was, I found three overdrafts. Three? I'd forgotten about the gym payment (but on the other hand, according to my records, a similar amount was still out for some gas, and I had enough money to cover it. Apparently I made an error somewhere.) But so I could understand if the gym payment overdrew. But actually through some sort of convoluted process plus the paying company's policy of not releasing funds at midnight, the way things happened were that the gym payment gobbled up the remaining funds although it was pending, and everything else in pending bounced. I understand how it works now (basically I can't trust my running balance or available balance at all). But the upshot is because of how their system handled the debits, there were three charges instead of one, eating up my entire paycheque from yesterday and leaving me negative. I got paid at the hospital last night. But I'll be short on my rent and although I'll be able to pay before being evicted or anything, it's going to cost a lot more money. Yes, this is my life, a comedy of errors. In this case part of it was my fault, part was their system and that of the company I work for, since if those funds were available (as they indicated in the available balance) at midnight, then everything would have been paid anyway. Grr.
Well, there's nothing I can do about it at this point except be sure I get everything paid I need to. Still, it was annoying.
Time to go to work.

Last night
my internet was acting up and so during the time I would normally blog, I reset and unplugged modems and routers until it was working, then headed to bed without writing. Sorry about that, but I'd worked two jobs and taped a lot of a little hot utility room with no air conditioning for several hours and I just felt drained. Today's the priming. Now that I've meticulously taped, I'm thinking the priming and painting won't be as bad. But, hey, I could be wrong.
I think I have a new addition to my painting clothes. Monday I went to Danville and before I left I checked the car's oil and transmission fluid and prepaid for some gas. I needed transmission fluid. Now, my hood doesn't stay up on its own anymore; the hydraulics are shot. It's a twelve-year-old car with 252,000 miles on it, so as long as other things don't break down, I can live with it. Well, I was juggling the hood, the funnel (you need a long one for transmission fluid), and the fluid, and I wound up dumping the fluid down my blouse--my favourite one at that. I was so discombulated that I almost drove away without pumping my gas. But I got some of the fluid into the car, pumped the gas, went home (I was only a block or two away), changed, and headed to Danville.
I missed my cousins by about 15 minutes; they headed towards Mammoth Cave and other attractions to see on the way back South. My uncles were roofing a shed for my grandmother most of the day, so I saw them intermittently, then had a little visit when they were through. My mom and John came for awhile, but she'd had a 16-hour shift the night before and was exhausted. She went back home to go to bed after awhile (but I did get my car insurance cards from her; yay--my copies have been expired since February, even though I've had insurance, I just haven't had the proof with me). But I had a great visit with my Aunt Sharon Sue (I have two Aunt Sharons--my uncle married one, so the middle name is necessary; besides, we're in the South--that's what she's always been called. This is my mother's sister. She and her husband are paraprofessionals in a public library, so we can commisurate.) And of course I got to visit quite a bit with my grandmother. All in all it was a good visit. The weather was beautiful and the traffic light, at least on the way there. There were a couple of accidents and even a detour but it wasn't too bad.
After that I came back to Lexington, taped for a couple of hours, and then I did notes. This is my first experience using the recording I made to get down everything; I'm listening to it off the flash drive on the computer through Windows Media Player since I can start and stop it easily. On the recorder, unless you set index marks, it just goes back to the beginning or forward to the end, and that's over 6 hours of recording to go through. This way I can skip any extraneous stuff like dollmaking or the latest movies and concentrate on the content from the game.
Yesterday I worked at the hospital and met with a Basch representative, who did an impressive presentation. If she can get a better deal, especially in terms of service fees, I may go with her company as a serials vendor. I like their claims system, check-in module, and how easily it is to access electronic journals in a central online location. I haven't had that with our current jobber. Then I went to the store for about 3 hours and helped train a new girl. Then it was time for taping. I didn't get to do notes last night; I felt like I'd had all the life sucked out from me and only an episode of 'Will & Grace' restored me a tad.
By the way, something happened on Friday that I forgot to mention here, although I put it on Twitter. I went to the clinic to check on room for some Spanish books and found a tub of ice condensing on top of some of the board books during a party. Needless to say, I was upset, and although I didn't demand the culprit's tongue, I did point out to several people that this was no place for liquids. About four were damaged, but not severely. I forget other people are clueless about books, but my God, you expect some common sense, especially as all of the people in the clinic presumably have degrees. Agh.
Okay, off to work before I'm late.

An ordinary day
Listening to: Leona Lewis, 'Bleeding Love'
Not a lot happened of any consequence today. I worked my normal shift at the hospital, then worked at another store for an hour and a half so they could have a meeting (the idea being that they'll reciprocate). I took a friend to work, dropped by our store for my schedule, did notes, and watched great episodes thanks to YKWIA of 'Reaper' ('me Devil, you minion') and 'Frasier' on YouTube and 'American Dad' on Hulu. (You have to love an episode which deals with sci-fi geeks with Patrick Stewart on the show, the Star Wars Kid so popular on YouTube and kids who save the country's infrastructure from a cyberterrorist by decoding the Elvish script. Viva la geeks!)
I think the two guys who are training to be assistant managers made out the schedule, and it's a little different than normal. I'm working at 8 am Saturday until 6 pm, which is way earlier than I normally work. I think they forgot that the truck will be here on Friday night instead of Thursday due to the holiday. I'm going to call tomorrow morning to see if my boss wants me to switch nights. But I'm off Monday, which is good. I was originally going to go to Danville to visit my grandmother on Thursday (her birthday), but found out that my aunts and uncles and at least some of the cousins are coming up for a visit at the beginning of next week, so I'm going on Monday instead.
Along with all of this I will be painting more shelves, so there will be a lot of work to do between my jobs, the painting, etc. It looks like I'll be working Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday, with Monday spent visiting. But we're going to call the game for painting, so I should be able to sleep in on Sunday before going over to finish up the paint job.
Well, that's all, I guess. Good night.

Almost too tired to blog
so I'll make this quick.
10 hours at work + 1 giant Kroger run + painting baseboards + driving in snow and ice + nearly falling on ice = 1 really tired and sore rabid librarian
PS When all was said and done, we got about 4 inches of snow (we set a record for March 8th, according to Weather Underground). I would include a picture, but a friend has borrowed my camera.
Good night.

Got a lot accomplished today
but there was no game. I finished the trim, did touch ups, helped move the furniture back, worked on a computer, and watched 'The 4400', and basically did a host of little things. Also, Brenda stopped by, thinking we were playing today, and she'll be back next week. I think she is as disturbed as I of how events have played out and all the different things we're juggling, not to mention powerful supernatural creatures who want to wage war against us, all for something my character did.
I'm actually home at a semi-decent hour. I may play a little of my current favourite, G.H.O.S.T. Hunters (it's a puzzle game where you find objects that are hidden on the screen and then get suspects for the haunting of a house.) No, I think I'll go on to bed. Hope you have a good night.

The full moon is big and gorgeous tonight
I very nearly broke tonight when I got a heavy shelf stuck and couldn't get it to budge. I don't handle frustration that well and just bawled, eventually getting some control over myself making it possible to move the shelf. I did chip a little off the top corner, but I covered that with white paint.
During the day I worked at the store for 8 hours, then watched the first two episodes of 'Ugly Betty'. It's a great little show. I particularly identified with Betty when she walked right into the glass doors. America Ferrera does an excellent job. It amazes me how they 'Bettify' her--she's such a pretty girl, and of a decent size, too. Vanessa Williams is great as a conniver, and Mark Indelicato, who plays Betty's nephew Justin (flaming at a tender age) does it superbly. Then it was painting trim and putting up shelves. Ah, my life--I don't think I've had more than four hours of sleep a night for a week and a half.

Yay, I'm back online
I've had a couple of days offline because my cable modem decided to stop speaking to the Vonage router. Resetting the modem didn't help. I finally had some time to call Insight and they suggested unplugging the router and the ethernet cable between the two, then plugging the router back in and letting it cycle. So yay, I have cable again, and also my phone, which piggybacks onto it.
So what has been happening, you ask? Well, you probably didn't but I'm going to tell you. My days of free time for painting ended with most of it done, so I'm back at work, both jobs. But tomorrow afternoon I need to paint one room for the second time and another for the fifth, if you include the primer. Burgundy is very hard to get coverage for on a light wall. Trim will be finished on Saturday and Sunday. Then there's books to be put up on the new shelves, and then begins my doom.
The strange thing of the week was that my door panel on the inside of the driver's door in my car fell off the other day. I've gotten relatively adept at getting it back on long enough to shut the door, but at first I really worked up a sweat in the heat and said a few choice words in the parking lot of the gas station. I'd picked up my paycheque and needed to put it in the bank and grab my shirt from home within 20 minutes, and it was not fun trying to put a door back together. But I managed and even made it to work within about three minutes of time. Fortunately I priced the fix and it looks like it'll run about $45, not too bad. Now it's just a matter of when I can get it done.
What else? They're increasing the pressure in my CPAP machine. Tomorrow I need to take it into the medical equipment place for them to reprogram it. I see the doctor next week.
I gave blood today at a blood drive at the hospital. I got a $10 fuel card for my efforts plus a nifty etched glass for completing my third gallon. That sounds really impressive, but that's over 23 years. I average once or twice a year, whereas you can donate much more often than that. I have O+ blood, so I constantly get pleas when the supply gets low.
One last thing, a video I haven't included here before, but really the song could be the anthem of my life, partly due to my issues with my parents, partly for my need to grow beyond the little girl I was. I can't embed it (the musician provided it to YouTube on the condition they disable that feature), but here it is.

Oh, the painting!
I am sore. I am tired. My ankles are swollent to the point where they look and feel like they'll bust open. I am hungry. I am eating Havarti cheese on sourdough bread. I have been painting since 11:15 this morning. Tomorrow I do the same things all over again for a second coat.
What I've learnt this go-around. Dark colours such as burgundy, when put over white, need a grey primer underneath for better coverage. Otherwise it could take four coats just to look decent.
Here's a quiz. I'm dubious about the outcome. What are you?

I am Catwoman??!?
| You Are Catwoman |
"Life's a bitch. Now so am I." |
Pet peeve of the night: Spending nearly 20 minutes in a Taco Bell drive-through line (because it's one of the few things open at 3 am) to have some guy look away every time he hands anything to you, nearly dropping each thing. Argh.
Today has not been good for my love of my fellow man. One of my co-workers at the gas station, borrowed from another store, is loud, brusque, overly talkative, and attention-seeking, to name a few. We're still being slammed since the other store on the same road is shut down for renovations. Several things went wrong, mainly due to people's inability to choose the correct grade of gasoline or driving up and letting us think they'd driven off. By the time I left work (nearly 40 minutes late) I had a huge headache and no more perkiness to speak of. But I kept my cool throughout the day, until someone kept jiggling the handle to the bathroom door when I was in it for all of two minutes, like I magically disappeared and the bathroom would be free. I did resist the urge to shove open the door and take down anyone in its way, though. Then I got some gas, made my escape, and immersed myself into priming shelves and walls, something I did until just recently. Now I'm home, and tired. I'm going to be sore tomorrow, I can tell. The actual painting starts then.
Fortunately I had good company tonight and I feel better. I'm finishing up my food and I'll go to bed soon. But I'm going to spend a few minutes winding down.
Sad thing is, this is the second time today I've been to Taco Bell. I so need to get some groceries in the house. Maybe tomorrow...

Stuck in my head
Fergie's 'Big Girls Don't Cry'
I'm not sure but I think the boyfriend with the tattoos getting the drugs in the video is played by Milo Ventimiglia from 'Heroes'.
I'm not really a fan of Fergie, but I do like this song.
Today was supposed to be a day of recharging before the great painting saga. Instead, I started taping today and got part of what I needed to primed. Tomorrow it's work 8 hours at the store, finish priming do first coat of paint on the shelves and do the trim. Then Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be painting the big stuff. I think it's going to take all the days to do it. Ugh. I'm already sore. But I have to admit, once I get into it, I like it. I must be a masochist.
