Born, like other comic book characters, out of an otherwise trivial but life-changing animal bite, the Rabid Librarian seeks out strange, useless facts, raves about real and perceived injustices, and seeks to meet her greatest challenge of all--her own life.

Took some time and watched
'Downton Abbey' on Netflix. I'm late to the table (this was Series 1, Episode 2), but I am enjoying it quite well. And I loved seeing the Dowager being thwarted a bit. I've loved Maggie Smith since I saw her in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie years ago. Oh, and the costumes are so lovely. I really rather like the heir presumptive, Matthew, at least so far. Now that I know the regular length is 43 minutes (the pilot was 66) I'm more likely to watch each night, so maybe I can get caught up. Now to clean the bathroom, and then for a bit of reading.
