The Care Fund is helping those health care workers in areas affected by Katrina rebuild their lives. In many cases hospital and other health care workers have lost their homes and families and yet continued to administer to the needs of others who were sick or injured throughout the crisis, doing what they could to save lives. This fund helps them as they try to recover from the storm's effects.
