Born, like other comic book characters, out of an otherwise trivial but life-changing animal bite, the Rabid Librarian seeks out strange, useless facts, raves about real and perceived injustices, and seeks to meet her greatest challenge of all--her own life.

This does rather remind me of someone I know
He knows who is is. :) I can remember the utter disbelief that my Kroger, the big one on Richmond Road, the one that carries furniture and Quisinarts, did not carry Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the giant tin. They had it in virgin. They had Berio extra virgin in plastic. They had Kroger extra virgin in the tin. But not the gold standard for my beloved cook. Fortunately, he too had a knight in shining armour who was able to procure it in time from another Kroger.
On the other hand, now that I'm starting to learn to cook, I realise that some things really do matter. But that man uses more Extra Virgin olive oil than anyone I know.
