Postscript

The doctor also said that when I start outpatient physical therapy, I can start working on weight-bearing without the boot, although I'll probably use it for work for awhile until I can comfortably walk in a regular shoe. The nice thing, though, is that I don't have to sleep in the boot anymore, but use it just for major walking. Yay!
