One thing about being homebound

is that I've discovered just how busy our maintenance staff is. Yes, there are over 200 apartments here, so you expect them to be, but I constantly see their trucks go back and forth by my window as they ferry tools, appliances, and various other items back and forth across the property. They've always been very attentive to my needs, including one time in the middle of the night when the water heater leaked all over the carpet, stopping just short of some books that were stacked. Anyway, I'm very thankful for where I live. They've been great in the eight years I've been here.
