Brenda thinks of the new musical version of Lord of the Rings. They've cut Denethor and Faramir out completely, although they've restored the destruction of the Shire that is absent in the Peter Jackson vision of Tolkien's mythos. Much of her fan fiction writings follow Faramir, because she has an original character in his company. For more on the musical, check out the March 27 issue of Newsweek.
