I hate it when the maples bloom

like they are right now. Usually it's closer to February before my allergies really kick in. This year they're blooming at the beginning of January. I'm sniffly, my eyes water, my throat tickles, etc. Time to break out the Claritin, I think. My nose is getting raw from blowing it so much.
