It examines the problems in balancing the safety of passengers without racially profiling, and how scary suspicous activity can be. It also was an incident that didn't really get covered by media, and might have been ignored had the author not been aboard. I heard about it when one of the author's friends called in to a radio programme. I don't know what was really happening on that flight, but it certainly would be considered suspicious.
