- Paid my rent
- Took books back to the library and got some more
- Called and cancelled the game.
- Helped a friend look over some things in preparation for going to the store
- Helped a friend get reading glasses and those eyeglass holders
- Took a friend to the store for a larger run than we though at the bigger store which was hot, and neither of us thought we'd make it
- Got another friend a chocolate shake
- Watched an interesting video on the philosophy of the question of the reality of fictional objects and entities (thanks to YKWIA)
- Watched a hilarious Christmas episode of 'Eureka' where the characters were translated into lots of cartoon styles and Jim Parsons of 'The Big Bang Theory' was the voice of Carl the ever-suffering Jeep driven by the sheriff
- Rubbed a friend's feet until he fell asleep
- Chatted a bit with the other for awhile
- Came home
- Had a bite to eat
- Listened to some music
- Read a book
- Took a nap
- Paid my cell phone bill
- Revamped my résumé and curriculum vitae online, since I'd redone the print ones
- Removed the steri-strips on my incisions, as they were curling up and they had told me that would be the signal to remove them--seems odd to have a bare knee again
Born, like other comic book characters, out of an otherwise trivial but life-changing animal bite, the Rabid Librarian seeks out strange, useless facts, raves about real and perceived injustices, and seeks to meet her greatest challenge of all--her own life.

Some music as I bring order out of chaos
Listening to Adele, 'Set Fire to the Rain'
'Rumour Has It'
What a voice! I've had the radio on and have been up (after a bit of a post-work nap) doing some housework/straightening up. The living room looks much better, and I can actually sit on the loveseat again. :)
The last few minutes I've been watching YouTube videos of Jim Parsons (Sheldon from 'Big Bang Theory') giving interviews on 'Ellen' and 'Late Night with David Letterman', and I was struck by what an engaging and upbeat person he seems to be. I think he does an excellent job on the show, but he seems to be a genuinely nice guy, too.
Okay, I think I'm going to do some reading and head to bed. I thought about watching the fourth episode of 'Downton Abbey', but it's almost eleven. Good night.
