Five hours later, and I'm just getting back home

The house, and all the anxiety it produces, will have to wait. I just got in. I have cleaned the litter there, taken out the trash and receptacles, helped cook, and cleaned up. Oh, and I went to the store because an ingredient was missing. I am now pooped. But we had a good time, and I lingered as a result, so I was avoiding the house, too. We sang 'Cows with Guns' and such. I don't think everyone would get the humour in that song at all.

Okay, I'm going to eat a little ice cream, cool off, and get ready for bed. Tomorrow, as they say, is another day (which is already planned out, as is Saturday.) Sigh.

I've shared this before, but you can never have too much of a good thing

I don't know if it's because I'm a vegetarian (well, pescetarian, really, I do eat fish), or if I just have a perverse sense of humour, but this song never fails to put me in a better mood (although the cow is a he with an udder in the video, which makes me wonder about their grasp on science). :) Okay, let's all sing along:

You know those little creamers

made by Land o'Lakes called Mini Moos? These are real-life mini moos:



YKWIA called me and suggested a break from the notes to look at these adorable half-pint cattle. :) They can produce meat and milk without some of the drawbacks of full-sized cattle, and they make good companion animals as well.

And now something random I've posted before, but I love it

although I still can't quite wrap my head around a steer/bull with an udder. :)

Okay, maybe it's just because I'm a pescetarian/vegetarian. I haven't eaten beef since 1991. :)

One last thing

Happy Spring...happy cows (no, not the ones from California--these are from an organic farm in the Netherlands). All cows should get to enjoy their pasture.
