with happy music, but sad lyrics of loss, including 'Seasons in the Sun', 'Cat's in the Cradle', 'American Pie', the 'Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald', and 'One Tin Soldier'.
Born, like other comic book characters, out of an otherwise trivial but life-changing animal bite, the Rabid Librarian seeks out strange, useless facts, raves about real and perceived injustices, and seeks to meet her greatest challenge of all--her own life.

This was quite possibly my favourite song growing up
We had it on a 45 record. Someone pieced together a wonderful and powerful video to go along with it.

A song (or three) I love, from about the same time
the year I was conceived, my parents got married, and my dad joined the Air Force and began training for his tours in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.
Here's another I associate with the war...this one from 1965.
and lastly, more upbeat, a song that's been in my head for a few days now, recorded in 1967 but released in 1968:
Okay, enough of music for now. Have a good night
