Well, after nearly 4 1/2 years, I finally did something to the car. I was trying to get into the local government parking structure and got too near a bollard. :( But it's not too bad, I guess. And the parking spaces were so close that I couldn't get out my door and had to literally climb out of the passenger door, wrenching my knee. So renewing my registration was, shall we say, an adventure. On the other hand, there wasn't a penalty, so my total bill was something like $46.13. Not bad. There are advantages to having an old (16 years old) car. :)
