Okay, I must confess--I fell asleep. just like YKWIA predicted, in the comfy chair

Listening to: Vision: the Music of Hildegarde of Bingen

But since I woke up I have taken out the recyclables and trash, despite having to go a circuitous route due to the construction, have gathered all the CDs and put them on the rack. The books are on the shelf I have dubbed, 'waiting for placement' (that's a health care term, according to a friend who used to work in it, for patients in the hospital waiting to go onto nursing homes). I still have a few things to put away, and I need to dust, but the place looks so much better. I'm burning some lavender incence and listening to mediaeval lyrics put to a somewhat New Age-y type of music. It's very relaxing.

It's enough for now. I'll finish the rest tomorrow. Let's go see the news and see if there's anything other than the Casey Anthony verdict out there.

Things You Should Know

The comments of the Rabid Librarian are © by Elisabeth Eilir Rowan and are the author's own opinions, sometimes curmudgeonly, although rarely malicious. They should not be taken as representative of any other individuals, group, or organisation. Whilst I try to keep my facts straight, this is a journal and not meant to be definitive. Feel free to quote if you like, but please give me credit for anything I wrote and a link back here would be appreciated. Video content is the property of the various copyright holders and I do not in any way mean to imply that I am taking credit for them--rather I enjoy them and want to share what I am watching and comment upon them. I have tried to provide links to creators and artists when I can. Thanks.
