Now they're saying it may be in dry food

and the various labs are disputing what substance caused the deaths in pets--aminopterin, as announced last week, or melamine, a Chinese fertilizer that may have contaminated wheat gluten. No word on what types of dry food may have been affected as of yet, if any. Menu Foods had a press conference earlier today discussing the melamine development. According to that, they only manufacture wet food, so if there is dry food contaminated, it may be another manufacturer.

I hope they get all this resolved soon!

and it is used as rat poison in some other countries (not the US). So one has to ask, how did aminopterin even get into the food that has killed several cats and dogs and is likely to be linked to more deaths and illnesses, especially when the recalled food was made at two different plants?
