Disturbing

Humanity Has Already Used An Entire Earth's Worth Of Resources This Year
Humans have, in fewer than eight months, already used up one year’s worth of the planet's resources. This is based on an analysis of the demand that the human population is putting on the Earth, through various actions such as pumping carbon into the atmosphere and scouring the sea of fish, and the rate at which the planet can replenish these resources.
At that rate, it's clear at some point we'll become environmentally bankrupt, and then where will we be? Oh, yeah. Dead. Mort. Extinct.

Then there's this one, too

You can see both Earth and Moon.  Yay! (PS, the only alteration on the screenshots was that I mucked with a couple of the icons in the folders for the finances folder. You don't really need to know who I bank with, etc.)

We have a tag-along

Trojan asteroid tags along on Earth's orbit: The asteroid in the Earth's orbit around the sun has been hiding from view, mostly overhead during daylight, study finds
Turns out the moon's not the Earth's only traveling companion. Space scientists have discovered an asteroid that's been following our fair planet for thousands of years, at least — and there may be many more where it came from, according to a recent study.
This one is at too eccentric an orbit to visit properly, but if others are found, they may be candidates for a NASA probe or mission.
