Is it just me, or are we losing the great Broadway writers lately?

'West Side Story' playwright Arthur Laurents dies in NYC: His work also included 'Gypsy,' 'Rope,' and 'The Way We Were'

According to Joe.My.God.: 'Laurents asked that his obituaries include this line: "He was predeceased by his partner, Tom Hatcher, with whom he had lived in happiness for more than 50 years."'

The New York Times does mention that he spent 52 years with Tom Hatcher. It has a nice obituary:

Arthur Laurents, Playwright and Director on Broadway, Dies at 93
